Intensive language study at the Korean Language and Culture Center. Academic excursions and field trips. Most students from other Asian countries. Bates students attend for two terms in fall (July-December) or two terms in the spring (January-June).
At Yonsei University. Required Korean language course and one elective directly related to Korea, in addition to three elective courses. Students are encouraged to apply for CIEE scholarships.
