Intensive language study at the Korean Language and Culture Center. Academic excursions and field trips. Most students from other Asian countries. Bates students attend for two terms in fall (July-December) or two terms in the spring (January-June).
Based at Khon Kaen University. Public and community health; practicum, Thai language. Overnight village stays. Excursion to another Southeast Asian country (past destinations: Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia).
