Excellent program in very central location, good variety of courses with own faculty and visiting professors from Trinity. Expensive program, even with discount for Bates students. Bates financial aid will cover up to the cost of a Bates semester, a higher than Bates cost is not covered.

Strong in Visual Arts (portfolio required); also Liberal Arts courses; located near the Piazza del Popolo. Italian language course required. Many opportunities for cultural enrichment. For Classics, Art History, or History major. Background in Roman history recommended. All classics, all the time. Focus on ancient Greek and Italian studies. Students study, live, and eat at the ICCS Center. Admission difficult. Preference to students with background in Latin or Greek. ICCS scholarships are available.
