Istanbul: The CIEE program at Koç University

Program suspended until further notice. Turkish and Middle East politics and history; art history; literature. Based at Koç University (English language univ.) with opportunities to participate in clubs and sports; Turkish language required; classes with Turkish students. Highly regarded faculty and student body. Dorm room with Turkish roommate. Striking campus setting; close to small town on the Bosphorus. Easy 45 minute commute to center of Istanbul, a vibrant international city of 15 million. Fall: early September-early January (requires prior arrangements with CIEE staff to take exams early); Spring: late January-early June. Students are encouraged to apply for CIEE scholarships.
