Istanbul: The IES program at Boğaziçi University

Program suspended until further notice. Program starts with 3 week Turkish language course and Turkish culture and civilization course; then courses with Turkish students at Boğaziçi University -- one of the leading universities in Europe. Politically active student body. For the independent student with previous course work in Middle Eastern studies. Turkish language required. Housing in program apts with Turkish RA's or in Superdorm with mainly international students. Early application required. Total enr.: 12,000. Students are encouraged to apply for IES scholarships.
